Brad Curtis
Brad was born in Pierre and
raised in Blunt, SD, which is about 20 miles east of Pierre. He
spent most of his time on the family farm south of Blunt until
his family moved to Pierre in 1969 and he has been a life-long
resident since then. His family attended the Madison Avenue
Church of Christ and he was baptized in 1969. Brad graduated
from York College in 1980 and married Cynda Davis in 1983. He
works for American State Bank where he heads up their Real
Estate division, but is still waiting for that call from the
Kansas City Royals to be their next third baseman! Brad is
active in the community serving on several boards and committees
and still enjoys playing racquetball and hunting when he has
time. He likes being a song leader here for the congregation,
and is always ready to teach a class or fill in the pulpit when
it’s his turn.

Bob Duncan
Bob was raised and baptized in the Church of Christ in Pierre.
He attributes his faithfulness to his mother, who is still an
active member here in Pierre and involved with World Bible
School correspondence courses. Bob graduated High School from
Western Christian College, which was located in Weyburn,
Saskatchewan at the time. He went on to attend Abilene Christian
University where he met his wife, Terry. Bob and Terry were
married in 1977 in Sterling Heights, Michigan, where Terry's
father and brother-in-law are Elders, and who were significant
mentors to Bob. Bob and Terry have four children who are
faithful members in the Church, and in providing grandchildren.
Rebecca is in High school and plans on attending York Christian
College, where her three older siblings met their mates.
Bob ran the family farm since the death of his father in 1982.
The events of 9/11/01 had a significant impact on Bob and
contributed to a career change into Law Enforcement. Bob finds
it very rewarding to help people and give back to his community
as a Deputy Sheriff.
